Welcome to Assegai Rest
Assegai Rest Farm is situated at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains, in the picturesque Klaasvoogds Valley.
We are only 15 k.m. from the town of Robertson on Route 62, just under 2 hours from Cape Town. With the Robertson Wine Valley as it's backdrop - this small farm is perfectly positioned to be 'away from it all' but close enough for a huge choice of things to do, great restaurants and down to earth wineries.
You can look forward to a relaxing break at Assegai Rest Accommodation - in a private and secluded setting. The farm is owned and run by Jackie and Andre and we look forward to welcoming you and sharing our space and creativity with you.
Assegai Rest was named for the Assegai Tree (Curtisia Dentata), also known as the Cape Lancewood. Our new space, Olea Cottage, was name after the Wild Olive tree (Olea Europea) that is growing in the middle of the deck. As you can tell, we Love Trees!
